Writing does not always mean something boring, most people tend to think that writing is for people who are generally smart and love to study, there’s not much difficulty in writing because everyone can do it, but not everyone can do Hand Lettering.
That’s right! Hand lettering is another form of creativity where you use the simpleness of letters and create something beautiful and meaningful out of it. Some are born with the ability to play with letters, but for some, it takes practice and hard work, which is what this workshop is all about!
Share the Love Workshop is a collaboration between the Love, Type team (Abbey Sy, Den & Steff Labordo) and Share Movement who has organized different workshops for a cause (Joseph Feeding Mission).
The workshop focused basic hand lettering for beginners who have just started getting into creatively playing with letters or lettering.
There were nametags and kits for the students who signed up for the workshop, raffled goodies from The Keybie Cafe and shirts from Chief Clothing, and of course a loot bag with lots of goodies from Hodge Podge, Sunday Paper, & Abbey Sy!
